Mastering Basic and Advanced workflows in S-FOUNDATION
How to use S-FOUNDATION software from beginner to the advance level. Creation of various footings, definition of load cases and combinations, analysis and checking of design results, various import options to import support and loading data.
-
Basic and Advanced Modelling. Model Virtually any foundation.
Learn how to model virtually any foundation including isolated footings, combined footings, continuous footings, wall footings, strap footings, and mat foundations.
Foundations can include pedestals, walls, piles, steps, holes, and areas of increased or decreased thickness.
-
Quick and Easy Footing Creation
With easy to use graphical tools you can define a footing component database to efficiently model footings.

Automation and Customization
Customizable Design Wizards:
S-FOUNDATION includes design wizards to help design foundations according to your custom constraints. Wizards use the S-FRAME OpenAPI, are open source and fully customizable to meet your design requirements.
Customizable Modeling Wizards:
Included modeling wizards in the foundation software provide a starting point for modeling your standalone model and allow further customization to meet user needs.
-
Automatic Finite Element Model Generation
The underlying finite element mesh is automatically and quickly generated using the same industry-leading mesh algorithms used in S-FRAME. Mesh constraints are fully adjustable by the user. Update your model and watch the algorithms redefine a new mesh using your constraints.

S-FOUNDATION Analysis
Soil Supports:
Nonlinear zero tension soil springs automatically generated on foundation joints considering the assigned soil properties. View and verify spring stiffness, pile head fixities, and tip support conditions to match desired analysis parameters.
Soil Pressure and Uplift Analysis:
Visualize soil pressure contours to identify areas of uplift and run an uplift code check.
Rigid Zones:
Rigid zones automatically created under pedestal footprints and walls using rigid links, to avoid load concentration and ensure loading pressure is transferred to the pad realistically.
Strip Lines:
S-FOUNDATION automatically generates strip integration lines, with exclusion areas, based on code requirements and pedestal locations..
